Am I the only Christian who gets pissed off at Thomas Kinkade paintings being considered “Christian art”?
If Thomas Kinkade wants to paint hideous and nausea inducing scenes, and old ladies want to adorn their homes with them, fine. But I don’t get why Thomas Kinkade is considered a Christian artist.
Christians aren’t supposed to be retreating to an idyllic country paradise where everyone is white and has nice homes. We’re supposed to be like.. dying to ourselves and helping the poor.
So I propose we go forth and burn all Thomas Kinkade Bible covers, starting with this one:

It’s a baby boomer generation thing. They are too old now for far left weirdness so they are into far right weirdness. Kinkade is a part of their mountain of monstrosities with Rick Warren and the Bush Administration.
